Hiring and Retention of Graduate level trainees

CHA-sponsored Residency Program Graduates: Over the past 5 years, one-third of CHA-sponsored residency program graduates (in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Adult Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry) stayed on at CHA. Many other grads who stay locally but choose to practice elsewhere, take volunteer teaching positions at CHA. 

And congratulations to CHA for recruiting stellar new trainees for Academic Year 2026 - we anticipate many future faculty among them! 

PA Longitudinal Integrated Clerkship: Since the initial pilot in 2019, half of the students chose to continue working at CHA after graduating from PA school at Boston University.

Graduate Nursing Residency Program: Over 85% of graduates of the program stay on to work at CHA.
