CHA Internal Medicine Residents, fellows and faculty present at the Society of General Internal Medicine Annual Meeting in National Harbor, Maryland!
Internal Medicine (IM) residents, fellows, and faculty enjoyed a few days of presenting and learning at the Society of General Internal Medicine Annual Meeting at National Harbor, Maryland. Our IM residents presented the project on Medicaid work requirements that they developed as part of our advocacy course, which generated a lot of interest among meeting attendees. Residents also presented case reports and quality improvement work, while faculty member Ellie Grossman co-led a workshop on ADHD. Our general medicine fellow Dhara Patel presented several projects related to the health effects of extreme weather events.
